FAQ

The joining fee of £60 is payable in full when becoming a member at MSTA. Here is a breakdown of what is included in the fee:
1. Insurance and Membership with British Taekwondo: This ensures that the participant is covered by insurance while participating in Taekwondo activities and grants them membership with British Taekwondo, likely providing access to resources, events, and opportunities within the organisation.
2. Taekwondo Suit & belt: This refers to the uniform or attire worn during Taekwondo training and competitions. It is essential for maintaining the tradition and discipline of the martial art. The belts signify the level of expertise or rank achieved by practitioners. Providing a belt allows the participant to start their journey in Taekwondo with the appropriate rank and motivates them to progress further.

That's great! If you already know some martial arts it will definitely help with coordination. We can tailor to individual needs in our classes, so please get in touch so we can work on the right plan for you.

Yes! We are a British Taekwondo member club and your membership will cover insurance with them. We also have our own safeguarding officer who is affiliated with them.

World Taekwondo (WT) is the international governing body for the sport of taekwondo, particularly the Olympic style. It is responsible for overseeing international competitions, setting the rules and standards for the sport, and promoting taekwondo around the world.

WT style taekwondo is what we focus on at MSTA.

YOUR
FEEDBACK

Djamila
Parent

"Your passion for the sport and helping your students succeed shines through in every class. Thank you for being such a positive role model and for the patience and encouragement you have shown my child. I highly recommend if you want your children to thrive physically and emotionally "

Gemma
Parent

"Our 6 year old has tried lots of extra curricular clubs from dance and gymnastics, to swimming and horse riding, but I've never seen her have as much fun as she does here. She's not the most coordinated, and one of the youngest in the class, but she absolutely loves it and has learned so much already. Martin is knowledgeable, organised and professional- cannot find a fault for him!"

Chris
Parent

"I would like to say a big thank you to Martin & Jodie @MSTA. Over the past few months my kids have been going here and gained techniques and confidence. They really love going and I would highly recommend."
